A Riverside County sheriff's deputy was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his wife, authorities revealed Thursday. Jaime Morales, 32, of Temecula, was taken into custody Aug. 24 for alleged battery on a spouse and assault with a deadly weapon, according to sheriff's officials... The suspect was booked... and was released an hour later... The case was referred to the District Attorney's Office, which is considering whether to file charges. [Full article here]
